This includes mismatches in the account name, billing telephone number (BTN), service address, or missing required fields like the account PIN or Letter of Authorization (LOA). If any of these details are incorrect or incomplete, the port request is typically rejected.
- Carrier-Specific Requirements and Rejections: Some carriers require a PIN for porting. If this is not provided or is incorrect, the request will be rejected, and the process must be restarted—resetting the SLA clock and delaying the Firm Order Commitment (FOC) date.
